BEIJING — Three COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on June 23, the National Health Commission said on June 24.

There were 368 patients still being treated, including 12 cases in severe condition, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 78,428 patients had been cured and discharged from hospitals by June 23, the report said.

As of June 23, a total of 83,430 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, among whom 4,634 had died of the disease.
