BEIJING — The National Health Commission said on Nov 16 that 19 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on Nov 15.

There were 374 patients still being treated, including four in severe condition, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 81,338 patients had been discharged from hospitals after recovery by Nov 15, the commission said.

As of Nov 15, a total of 86,346 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, among whom 4,634 died of the disease.
