BEIJING — The National Health Commission said on Nov 21 that 19 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on Nov 20. 

There were 308 patients still being treated, including one in severe condition, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 81,472 patients had been discharged from hospitals after recovery by Nov 20, the commission said.

As of Nov 20, a total of 86,414 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, among whom 4,634 died of the disease.
