China to continue suspending flights to and from UK

BEIJING — China will continue suspending regular passenger flights to and from the United Kingdom to cope with the possible impact of the variant of the coronavirus found in the UK, the civil aviation regulator announced on Jan 10.

The renewed suspension will take effect from Jan 11, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

The CAAC requires domestic and foreign airlines to coordinate services regarding ticket refunds and flight changes for affected passengers.
