China will strengthen efforts on coordinating development of trade industries, according to the country's Ministry of Commerce on Feb 24.

Wang Wentao, China's commerce minister, said at a media briefing in Beijing that China is to certificate a new batch of foreign trade transformation and upgrade bases this year, and will also build a new host of industrial parks for processing trade.

The country will also establish a cluster of pilot demonstration zones for imports to expand scale of imports and stimulate quality development of related industries, he said.
