Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan attended and addressed an on-site promotional meeting on reforming and innovating ideological and political theory courses in schools in the new era on Dec 13 in Tianjin.

Sun observed the teaching of ideological and political theory courses and heard speeches from relevant parties and schools.

She stressed the special importance of ideological and political theory courses and urged reforming and innovating such courses with a focus on teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods.

Efforts should be made to continuously improve the rationality and attractiveness of ideological and political theory courses, Sun said, calling for comprehensive improvement of the level of the courses.
