Vice-Premier Ma Kai attended a meeting on the reform of State-owned enterprises (SOEs) held in Beijing on July 11.

Representatives from provincial governments and SOEs shared their experiences and ideas on the reform of SOEs.

According to the meeting, more efforts should be made to consolidate the reform results, make breakthroughs, and build modern SOE management system.

Diversified recruitment and payment system should be in place with strong supervision to guard State-owned assets.

In addition, SOEs should raise efficiency and quality under the support of the supply-side reform and mass entrepreneurship and innovation.

State Councilor Wang Yong also attended the meeting.
