BEIJING — China and Britain will hold their 9th economic and financial dialogue in Beijing from Dec 15 to 16, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said on Dec 12.

Vice-Premier Ma Kai and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond will co-chair the dialogue, Lu said.

The two sides will discuss the macroeconomic situation and policy, trade, investment and industry strategy, financial reform, development of the financial market as well as cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, Lu said.
