BEIJING — At the invitation of Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will lead a delegation to attend the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Nagoya, Japan and pay an official visit to Japan from Nov 22 to 26.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang made the announcement on Nov 21.

During the visit, Wang and Motegi will jointly hold the first meeting of the China-Japan high-level consultation mechanism on people-to-people exchanges, Geng added.
