BEIJING — State Councilor and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe on March 16 spoke with Mongolian Minister of Defence Gursediin Saikhanbayar over the phone about cooperation between the two countries' military powers.
Wei briefed his Mongolian counterpart on China's annual "two sessions". He said that China is willing to work with Mongolia to implement the consensus between the countries' leaders. China will also deepen practical exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries to safeguard regional peace and stability.
Saikhanbayar said Mongolia highly recognizes China's tremendous achievements in its development and in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. He stressed that Mongolia is willing to promote mutual trust and close cooperation with China and further the relations between the two militaries.
