An article by State Councilor Xiao Jie which promotes learning the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in the General Office of the State Council was published recently.

The article by Xiao, also secretary-general of the State Council, was published in a journal on studies of Party building among Party and government organs.

The article refers to an important speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at a meeting to launch a campaign on Party history learning and education.

The general office of the State Council should stay in concert with the gist of President Xi's speech, and conduct high-quality Party history learning and education campaigns, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC with excellent achievements, Xiao said.
