State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed the importance of enhancing the political loyalty of the country's police force and running them with strict discipline, at a national video and telephone conference on April 7.

He urged police at all levels to be loyal to the Party, serve the people, stick to justice in law enforcement and maintain strict discipline.

The goal is to build a high-quality, competent, and invincible team for public security, which can fulfill the duties and tasks of the new era entrusted to them by the Party and the people, said Zhao.

He demanded the police enhance political building and keep firm faith in the Party, saying the police must continuously absorb the Party’s innovating theories and make good use of the system.
