BEIJING — The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on July 31.

Liu Junchuan was appointed vice-director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.

Qiu Xiaoping no longer serves as vice-minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and Qu Dongyu will no longer hold the position as vice-minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
