BEIJING — China’s international goods and services trade income amounted to 1.57 trillion yuan (about $228.58 billion) while its expenditures stood at 1.38 trillion yuan, official data showed on June 27.
The country saw a surplus of 183.4 billion yuan in international goods and services trade in May, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) said in a statement.
In breakdown, China’s goods trade gained 1.43 trillion yuan in May with an expenditure of 1.10 trillion yuan, leading to a 334.6 billion yuan surplus, the SAFE data showed.
Meanwhile, services trade saw a 151.2 billion yuan deficit in May, as the income and expenditure stood at 135.7 billion yuan and 286.9 billion yuan, respectively.
