BEIJING — Foreign political leaders have said they appreciate the Communist Party of China (CPC) for timely sharing its experience in combating COVID-19 with all parties and proactively promoting international cooperation in anti-epidemic efforts.

In messages sent to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, they said such moves have vividly embodied the idea of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Antonio Ortega, secretary-general of Costa Rica's Broad Front Party, expressed his deep gratitude for China's generous assistance to Costa Rica in the fight against COVID-19, which he said fully demonstrates the friendship and solidarity between the two peoples.

Ortega said his party firmly opposes the doubt over China's anti-epidemic achievements by some people with ulterior motives.

Rolf Mutzenich, chairman of the Social Democratic Party parliamentary group in the German federal parliament Bundestag, said the anti-epidemic experience and practices shared by the CPC are truly beneficial.

Noting the coronavirus pandemic has affected the whole world, Mutzenich said all countries must help each other and work more closely together.

In addition, Myanmar's Union Betterment Party Chairman U Shwe Mann, Secretary-General of Kenya's ruling Jubilee party Raphael Tuju, President of Lebanese Future Movement party Saad Hariri, and Belarusian Presidential Administration chief Igor Sergeyenko, among other political figures, have also sent messages speaking highly of China's progress in the anti-virus fight, expecting China to play a bigger role in international cooperation to combat the pandemic.
