The Toronto Zoo in Canada on March 7 held a christening ceremony for the twin panda cubs born to Ershun, one of the two giant pandas on loan from China since March 2013.

After a month of collecting suggestions, the zoo chose the names Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue, which means Canadian Hope and Canadian Joy, respectively, for the two cubs.

Ershun gave birth to the twin panda cubs on Oct 13, 2015, and they were the first panda cubs born in Canada.
