First high-speed train around Poyang Lake starts operating

A new high-speed railway line linking Nanchang and 15 other destinations in Jiangxi province around the Poyang Lake began operating on July 20. As part of the Shanghai-Kunming bullet train network, the new service cuts travel time between the cities around the lake to just six hours. [Photo/VCG]
