Major work to reinforce N China reservoir completed

Major work on the project has recently concluded. The project includes the renovation of safety check infrastructures, flood control roads and spillways. As a large water conservancy project on the Yanghe River, the reservoir serves to supply water for industries and life in the city of Qinhuangdao, to control floods for downstream areas, and to guarantee irrigation for grain fields.
