The 100th 60-meter concrete box girder of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is completed on May 15, in South China’s Guangdong province. The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is a cross-sea cluster project integrating "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater communication", with a total length of about 24 kilometers. The bridge section has a total span of 17 kilometers. Prefabrication of all concrete box girders is expected to be completed by October this year, laying the foundation for the bridge’s opening to traffic in 2024. [Photo/Xinhua]
