I have been covering the two sessions for 10 years. This year, I will focus on the future of the Chinese economy. We are going to find out what the Chinese government is trying to do with the economic slowdown. I expect that China will take more measures about the monetary system, the financial system, and improve the labor market. It’s complicated, but I think China will take further economic reforms, we will see tomorrow what the government announces (in the work report). But I don’t think China’s economy will see a hard landing. Chinese economists are quite cautious. The country’s economic system is very powerful. I think they still have a lot of tools to prevent the economy from a hard landing.
