The following are schedules for the fourth sessions of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on March 12.

NPC:

-- Meetings adjourned for the day.

-- Executive chairpersons of the presidium of the NPC session will meet in the afternoon.

-- At 10 am, the governor and vice governors of the People’s Bank of China will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions.

-- At 2:30 pm, the chief and deputy chiefs of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions.

-- At 4:15 pm, heads of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, and China Insurance Regulatory Commission will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions.

CPPCC:

-- At 9 am, members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will attend panel discussions about the work report of the committee’s standing committee and its consultation plan for this year.

-- At 3 pm, the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold the fourth plenary meeting.
