Reform of China’s financial regulation system is under discussion, Zhou Xiaochuan, central bank governor, said on March 12.
“I am listening to inputs from all sides,” Zhou said at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual parliamentary session.
Significant fluctuations in China’s stock market last year led many to reflect on the country’s financial oversight.
There is no global consensus regarding the system for financial oversight, Zhou said.
