BEIJING — China’s industrial value-added output expanded 6.2 percent year-on-year in October, slowing from a 6.6-percent growth in September, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Nov 14.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial output edged up 0.5 percent from September, according to the NBS.
In the January-October period, combined industrial output grew 6.7 percent year-on-year, flat with the first nine months of the year.
Industrial output is used to measure the activity of designated large enterprises with annual turnover of at least 20 million yuan ($3 million).
