SHENZHEN — The 14th China International Cultural Industries Fair concluded on May 14 in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, recording more overseas participants than last year.
The fair attracted 21,386 overseas business people from 101 countries and regions, including exhibitors and buyers, 1,370 more than in 2017, according to the organizing committee.
The five-day event covered themes such as the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up policy, the Belt and Road Initiative and supply-side structural reform.
Covering 105,000 square meters, the display area consisted of nine pavilions, focusing on such themes as fashion design, film and animation, press and publications, art and intangible cultural heritage.
The event attracted over 7.33 million visitors, up around 10 percent from last year.
