Che Jun, Party secretary of East China’s Zhejiang province, urged all parties to push forward far-reaching reform at a meeting on May 28.

Hosted by Ge Huijun, chairwoman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the meeting invited eight professionals to conduct an in-depth discussion on reform in all respects by furthering the “At Most One Visit” administrative streamlining reform.

The pioneering “At Most One Visit” plan, initiated by Zhejiang province, is aimed at cutting down on red tape for the public and businesses. It has made significant headway and has been spread across the country.

Che said that the province will further deepen the administrative streamlining reform to optimize working environments for businesses and provide efficient services for the public. Meanwhile, with the “At Most One Visit” plan at the fore, the province is poised to deepen reform across the board.

Che suggested integrating information platforms among government departments to encourage digital transformation in the economic and social sectors. Also, he pointed out that the plan, which has highly improved the work efficiency of government departments, is helpful in bridging the gap between the government and the public. It will help create a favorable political ecosystem in Zhejiang, according to Che.
