Chinese express delivery companies have been actively expanding their overseas markets in recent years.
As one of the largest express delivery companies in China, SF Express has recently opened a direct route of full-cargo flights from Shenzhen to Chennai, India.
The company has already opened flight routes to Osaka, Hanoi, Phnom Penh and Dhaka. Its international express delivery service has covered the United States, the European Union, Russia, Japan and Malaysia among 53 countries and regions.
China’s cross-border delivery volume is growing rapidly; meanwhile, the cross-border express delivery service capacity is also gradually strengthening.
Statistics issued by the State Post Bureau indicate that China handled 520 million cross-border parcels in the first half of this year, up 43.1 percent year-on-year.
Express delivery companies are now offering Chinese logistics technologies and supply chain management capabilities, presenting “China Speed” to the world.
In addition, the State Post Bureau has established a green channel to simplify the cargo clearance process by cooperating with civil aviation, customs and other departments to improve handling efficiency.
