SHENZHEN — Over 60 delegations from more than 40 countries, regions, and international organizations have participated in the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which opened in South China’s Shenzhen on Nov 14.
More than 1,000 new products and technology in fields such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, energy conservation, environmental protection, information technology, biotechnology, new energy, new materials, aerospace, and new display technology will be showcased during the five-day event.
A total of 3,356 exhibitors occupied an exhibition area of 140,000 square meters. Chile, Cuba, and Peru participated in the fair for the first time.
The CHTF was initiated by the Shenzhen city government in 1999 in a bid to boost the economy through technical innovation and has since been held annually.
