BEIJING — A job fair for Chinese students returning from overseas was held in Beijing on April 8 to facilitate employment of students by Chinese institutions.
The event, held by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange under the Ministry of Education, attracted 169 well-known domestic institutions, many of which take part in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Organizers provided consulting services for students visiting the fair, including on certification of overseas academic degrees, and procedures concerning employment and settlement.
The fair has been held 13 times since 2012, attracting over 2,000 enterprises and institutions, as well as nearly 40,000 students, and providing over 10,000 job positions.
