BEIJING — No new locally-transmitted confirmed, asymptomatic or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Beijing on Aug 8, the municipal health commission said on Aug 9.

The city also reported no new imported confirmed, asymptomatic or suspected cases on Aug 8, according to the commission.

Beijing had recorded four confirmed cases related to the new infections in Northeast China's Dalian city since late July.
