BEIJING — The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on Aug 25.

Wang Lujin was appointed deputy auditor general of the National Audit Office and was removed from the post of the deputy head of the State Taxation Administration.

Ke Yousheng was appointed Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, replacing Li Hong.
