China’s labor market remains stable in 2015. According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on July 29, the number of rural workers working in urban areas rose in the first half of 2015.
The spokesman said employment in rural areas is healthy this year, less people chose to seek employment in cities due to increases in job opportunities and a narrowing of the nationwide income gap. 130 thousand rural citizens also chose to start their own businesses, up 3.1 percent, due to the government’s effort to encourage entrepreneurship.
