Former officials and think tank representatives from five BRICS countries have gathered in East China’s Fujian province for a two-day seminar on governance.

The event is taking place in Quanzhou, some 80 kilometers away from Xiamen where this year’s BRICS summit will be held in two weeks.

The seminar is focusing on development and governance, with sessions on reform, communication and collaboration.
