Improving the business environment has always been at the top of the government’s agenda. The year 2018 witnessed some new measures from the State Council executive meetings to prioritize the business environment, aimed at attracting more foreign enterprises to invest in China.
These measures, covering the negative list, delivery of major foreign-invested projects, one-stop services, intellectual property rights protection, and separating business licenses from operation permits, became buzzwords on the government’s agenda, showing the Chinese government’s open attitude about foreign investment.
