According to the wheat harvest schedule released on June 22 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, large-scale wheat harvest in major summer grain-producing areas in China has ended. The quality of winter wheat has been the best in recent years, with yields exceeding expectations.
As of June 21, 20.07 million hectares of wheat had been harvested in nine provinces. More than 600,000 combine harvesters have been used, covering a total area of 19.87 million hectares, and the mechanization rate exceeds 98 percent.
