Autumn is harvest season in the place known as "the land of fish and rice." In Huai'an, a city in East China's Jiangsu province, the harvest is known for two specific products: paddy rice and hairy crabs.

Despite record temperatures since late July in many parts of China that have presented challenges to farmers, agricultural output there has remained stable this year.
