The State Council has issued a circular rolling out a nationwide inspection of government services, an effort to promote administrative streamlining and build service-oriented governments.

According to the circular, the inspection will cover service halls, government service websites and apps, hotlines and public resource trading platforms of provincial, municipal and county-level governments.

Provincial governments should collect related information from lower governments before March 31, 2017, and submit it to the State Council.

General offices of provincial governments should assign one person as director general and one contact person to coordinate the inspection.
