The State Council has issued an approval to build a civil airport in Heze, in East China’s Shandong province.

The new airport will be a 4-C standard domestic feeder-line airport, with a new runway of 2,600 meters. By 2030, passenger throughput should reach 900,000, while cargo throughput is expected to reach 6,500 tons.

The new terminal will cover an area of 10,000 square meters, and total investment for the project will exceed 1.8 billion yuan.
