The State Council’s General Office has released a plan on the implementation and evaluation of the “Healthy China” initiative.

The plan outlines the full implementation of the “Healthy China 2030” blueprint and State Council’s Opinions on Implementing the Program.

It states that a national level promotional committee will be set up, and the Healthy China Program (2019-2030) will be printed and published.

The committee will also establish an expert consultation panel, providing technology support for the implementation of the program.

Special action work teams will also be coordinated under the promotional committee.

The committee will convene a variety of meetings to ensure the smooth success of the initiative, including plenary, directors’ office, and general office meetings.

The promotion committee will study and determine each year’s achievement priorities, deal with cross-department problems, and help establish a foundation to ensure financing of the “Healthy China” initiative.

In addition, the committee will enhance publicity of health knowledge through diversified media platforms.

Key indicators and implementation of key tasks will be monitored yearly, and work teams shall also compile annual reports according to the progress of their tasks.
