Premier Li Keqiang attended the closing ceremony of the 2019 International Horticultural Exhibition in Beijing and visited the expo with foreign leaders.
Premier Li welcomed them at the China Pavilion before they viewed the exhibition areas of Yunnan province, Tibet autonomous region, Guangdong province, and enjoyed the featured plants and fine horticulture.
While taking in different local views, Premier Li said the China Pavilion demonstrates the diverse, splendid local cultures and ethnic features of China.
Chinese horticulture has reflected the harmonious coexistence of man and nature in China, he said.
Impressed by the techniques of gardeners, the foreign leaders praised China's achievements in environmentalism and expressed their willingness to learn of China's experiences in green development.
With an exhibition area of around 15, 000 square meters, the China Pavilion has showcased the gardening and environmental work of different provinces, autonomous regions, and cities, ecological civilization, as well as research institutions.
The exhibition has lasted for 162 days.
Hu Chunhua, Cai Qi, Wang Yi and Xiao Jie attended the event.
