The CCAA gives priority to foreign couples attempting to adopt child in China with both parties of the couple between 30 to 50 years old when accepting and reviewing the applications and arranging adoptees for them. In addition, both parties of a couple who want to adopt children with special needs must between the ages of 30 and 50.
