BEIJING — Yi Gang was nominated as governor of the People’s Bank of China, the central bank, by Premier Li Keqiang at the ongoing session of the national legislature on March 19.
Nearly 3,000 deputies to the 13th National People’s Congress will vote on the nomination at a plenary meeting.
