BEIJING — The State Council, China’s cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of several officials on Feb 15.
Luo Wen was appointed vice-chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, and he is no longer vice-minister of Industry and Information Technology.
Zhong Denghua was appointed vice-education minister, and he no longer serves as president of Tianjin University.
Wang Zhijun was appointed vice-minister of Industry and Information Technology. Guo Weiping was named deputy director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, replacing Li Changping.
Chen Chenzhao was named vice-general supervisor of national natural resources, and he was removed from the post of deputy auditor-general of the National Audit Office.
Zhao Aiming was appointed deputy head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and Zhao Gang was named deputy director of the National Intellectual Property Administration.
