China to enhance international cooperation on child welfare

China will share its experience in promoting the welfare of children with the world, State Councilor Wang Yong said on Nov 13.

Wang told president of SOS Children’s Villages International, Siddhartha Kaul,that the Chinese government attached great importance to welfare of children and the protection of orphans.

The government supports relevant departments to further deepen cooperation with SOS Children’s Villages International, said Wang, noting China appreciated the organization’s contribution to Chinese children’s welfare.

China will work with the international community to promote the cause, according to Wang.
