State Councilor Wang Yong, leading a working group of State Council staff, is heading to Maoxian county of Southwest China’s Sichuan province on June 24 to guide on site emergency rescue and disaster relief work.

During his stay at the landslide-hit county, Wang will also visit and express condolences to the victims and the survivors, and express appreciation to front-line rescue workers.

A landslide occurred in Xinmo village of Maoxian county, Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture on the morning of June 24.
