State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun inspected public security work in Tianjin and security work for the 13th National Games.

He urged efforts to ensure sound public security and measures are in place in Tianjin.

Guo visited the National Games Village, Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium, and community police offices to check the security preparations for the games.

At a meeting following the inspection, he stressed that all related parties should make every effort to eliminate all kinds of security loopholes, and use innovative technologies in transportation management and security check measures, to ensure the secure running of the games.
