Chang Wanquan joined the delegation of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to discuss Xi Jinping’s report delivered at the opening session of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Chang said the report made him think of the past five years’ hard work under Xi’s leadership, which ushered China into a new era of socialism.

Also during that time, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was formed, which sums up the essence of practical experiences of the Party and the Chinese people.

“With a strong sense of responsibility, great ambition and a reforming spirit, Xi has become the core of the Party leadership. We will firmly support this strong leadership,” Chang said.
