On March 6, State Councilor Yang Jiechi joined a panel discussion with deputies from Liaoning province to the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) to discuss the Government Work Report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang on March 5.

He said that under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi at the core, China has reached historic achievements and development in the past five years.

He said he completely agrees with Premier Li’s Government Work Report.

Yang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, urged Liaoning to fully implement the decisions and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, especially the new development concept, to advance local economic and social development.
