China and Czech will mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relationships, Wang said, adding that China is willing to work with the Czech side to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of two nations, take account of each other’s core interests and major concerns, promote pragmatic cooperation, strengthen international coordination, and enrich Sino-Czech strategic partnership.

Petricek said that the Czech Republic is willing to deepen all-round cooperation between the two countries under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative and China-Central and Eastern Europe cooperation, and safeguard the rules-based international trade system.

When meeting with Ebrard, Wang conveyed President Xi Jinping’s hope to have strategic communication with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, to achieve a smooth transition of China-Mexico relations and open a new chapter in bilateral friendship.

He also said that the two sides should lead the development of bilateral relations with high-level exchanges, promote construction of Belt and Road Initiative, and expand cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, and energy.

Ebrard said that Mexico’s new government will learn from China’s development experience, and deepen cooperation under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative while promoting free trade.
