BEIJING — State Councilor Zhao Kezhi met with Dzhumakhon Giyosov, director of the Executive Committee of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) in Beijing on Jan 24.
Zhao, also minister of public security, said the SCO Qingdao Summit has injected dynamic impetus to the organization’s development.
He said China stands ready to work with the executive committee to promote a comprehensive implementation of the summit’s achievements among the SCO member countries, improve cooperative mechanism, share information, enhance security of the Belt and Road construction and effectively combat the “three evil forces” of terrorism, separatism and extremism, so as to maintain regional security, stability, prosperity and development.
Giyosov said the executive committee is willing to promote coordination among the SCO member countries to jointly fight the “three evil forces.”
