State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi attended a panel discussion with deputies from Southwest China’s Tibet autonomous region at the second session of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beijing on March 5.

Praising the major progress made in various areas over the past year, Zhao said he fully endorsed the Government Work report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang.

The report, which set out 92 key tasks for the State Council, has significantly boosted market confidence and improved market expectations, he said.

The state councilor also called for efforts to firmly implement the Party’s strategy for governing Tibet and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China with outstanding achievements.
